Image
Elements of Art in Photography   Line: When I looked around my house I found this which has lines on it so I took a picture and now I’m using it has a example of line. Shape: When I opened a book a leaf fell out so I decided to use as the shape part for this work. Form: This is my moon lamp humidifier and as you can see it mostly took up the space in the picture. Space: When I was walking I remember the picture for the space in the website, I look at the ocean and saw the boat and open space just like the picture, so I took a picture of it. Color: When I was walking I saw this flowers and took a picture of it because I believe it’s a good example of color. Tone: This is a baseball that have we’re under a lamp, I thought it’s a good of tone so I took a picture of it. Texture: I also remember the picture in the website texture, which gave me the idea of picturing a tree.

Rules of Thirds Project

Image
3 Photos following the Rule of Thirds I took a picture of this flower outside my house and also made sure the flowers, the main subject is in the left side grid instead of being in the middle. I had an idea involving the pens that I had for a long time and barley use, so here’s the result.  I decided to take a picture of my racket since badminton is one of my favorite sport and I just want to see how it look like when it’s pictured.  Not following the Rule of thirds The main subject the statue as you can see is in the middle which is breaking the Rule of Thirds.

Meet My Friend! Photo Challenge No.3

Image
This is my new friend Mark. I met him while walking on the pathway. It was hard to take a picture of him since he always runs away everytime I come close to him. But with that being said his pretty chill guy and he let me take a picture of him.  He jumped up on a leaf when I first went close to him. He decided to go back down on the grass. Then lastly he jumped on another grass but it's more green.

Iconic Photographer Photo Project

Image
Ansel Adams is famous for his “zone system” — a complicated method of rendering the “perfect” monochromatic print. He was famous for saying that you don't just “take” photos— you “make” photos. He saw photography as a form of art. Clicking the shutter wasn't enough to make an image. I was deeply impressed with the simplicity of the images' conception and by their rich and luminous tonality, a style in contrast to the soft-focus Pictorialism still in vogue among many contemporary photographers. The experience confirmed in him his evolution toward a purer and more realistic style.  Ansel Adams photography style: My recreation attempt:

Who's Your Hero (PHOTO CHALLENGE No.2)

Image
My heroes, my role models, and the people who I look up to is my family. I know for this work we are required to just pick one person, but without my family and without their support, their help, and mostly love, then I feel like I wouldn't be here. They gave me the best childhood and helped me in my hard times even though they’re also having a hard time. They thought me things as I grew up like respect others, give everyday your best, and lastly don't take things for granted. They thought me life lessons that I will need for the future, they don’t really say it, but with action to show me that, don’t say but show and don’t promise just prove.

WAR IN THE MARIANAS

Image
A tank used on the Red Beach Night Attack that has been repainted Red Beach Night Attack  On the night of the 16th June, we carried out a large-scale night attack. One battalion broke through a portion of the enemy’s line....but we suffered great losses. - Captain Taisa Shimamura - The battle evolved itself into a madhouse of noise tracers, and flashing lights. As tanks were hit and set afire, they shilhoutted other tanks coming out of the flickering shadows. - Major James Donovan - Near here about 1,000 Japanese  infantrymen joined 44 tanks in a  powerful counterattack against the  Marines holding Red Beach. This was  the first large-scale tank battle of the Pacific War. At first light the next  morning, Marines counted 31 tanks  burning on the battlefield. Two days’ fighting on this beachhead  cost the U.S. 2nd Marine Division 3,500  casualties.

Photo Challenge 1: My Morning View

Image
It was 6:45 a.m. The sun was rising, the clouds were light orange, and bright.  It’s a light pink rose, a shrub plant, and it’s planted beside my house, which you can see in the background.  It is a rough, one way, and clean road, which has beautiful plants on the side and also the cars. This picture was taken in the morning at 6:50 a.m. when I was about to go to school. This photos was taken on my phone.

Introduction

Image
My name is Kyle Salcedo but you can just call me by my first name. I’m currently a sophomore student in Marianas High School and I’m taking this course to graduate early and hopefully improve my photography skills. I like to play badminton when there's time and I mostly play mobile games on my phone when there's really not that much to do. The games that I like to play are CODM, ML, Pubg, and Pokémon Unite, basically fps and strategy games. I also like to learn new things that’s why I’m taking this course, but the main reason for taking this course is that I suck at taking photos and I feel like I will need photography skills in the future. So with that being said, I hope you guys are safe and doing well.
